Our range of fluidic devices is changing the way microspheres (for sustained release of therapeutics) are manufactured. We are challenging the established technologies used in PLGA formulation and offering a novel, semi-continuous manufacturing process with highly uniform products and near-zero wastage. Q Chip’s technology platform has evoked three very different biotechnology applications;
i) tuneable peptide encapsulation
ii) emulsion-free protein encapsulation
iii) bioactive microcarriers for stem cell culture/differentiation
Through our internal R&D programmes we are seeking to commercialise these applications & products, and are actively seeking academic and industrial collaborations to accelerate this process.
